Maharaja Bhog is located at Lower Parel, it's right next to Todi Mills. WHAT DOES IT SERVE !? Maharaja Bhog is a premium vegetarian thali restaurant. The thali consists of rajasthani and gujrati delicacies, servings are unlimited. Their menu changes every day, they have over nine hundred recipes. WHAT I LIKED THE MOST !? The daily changing thali offers thirty plus dishes and accompaniments. It includes papads, chutney, pickle, salad, welcome drink, buttermilk, steamed & fried farsan, five different types of vegetables, rajasthan & gujarati dal, kadi, three types of indian breads, steamed rice, khichdi and two desserts. My thali consisted of chandan sharbat, bread roll, patra, beetroot raita, aalu paatal bhaji, mix kathol chutney wala, methi malai matar, bhindi achari, apple basundi, doodhi halwa, khoba roti and of course salad, papad, dal, kadi, khichdi, achaar, chutney were standard. I liked their bread roll alot, it had a nice filling of green peas. In mains i loved their methi malai matar which had peices of malai paneer. Even their tangy spicy achari flavoured bhindi was fantastic. I ended my meal with a delicious cardamom flavoured doodhi halwa. Maharaja Bhog even offers a meetha paan after the meal n it's much needed ;)) WHAT'S MY TAKE !? Maharaja Bhog is one of the best places to enjoy a gujrati/marwadi meal. You are spoilt with choices, food is homely and wholesome. Ambiance and Service is amazing ! Try them out !
