One can plan a trip to lonavala anytime as it's just 90km from Mumbai and it takes 2hrs to reach. Though rainy season is the best time to visit as waterfall and dams are in full action. A car road trip from Mumbai to Lonavala would be the best option in summers and rainy season, Lonavala is also a popular option among bike riders for a bike ride on the concrete six lane Mumbai Pune Highway.
