Poha Recipe - Chana Poha - Gahukar's Kitchen INGREDIENTS : 2 Cups Thick Poha/Flattened Rice 50 Grms Peanuts 2 Large Size Chopped Onions 1 Mediun Size Peeled Finely Chopped Potato 4-5 Chopped Green Chilies 10-12 Curry Leaves 1/2 Cup Chopped Coriander Leaves 1/2 Cup Namkeen Sev For Garnishing 1 Cup Kala Chana Gravy 1 Tsp Cumin Seeds 1 Tsp Mustard Seeds 1 Tsp Fennel Seeds 1/2 Tsp Turmeric Powder 1/2 Tsp Sugar Salt To Taste Oil (2-3 Tbsp) Water As Required 1 Lemon METHOD : 1.Take poha in a strainer and wash it in running water Keep it aside in the strainer for soaking 2.Turn on flame and heat oil in a kadai 3.Add cumin seeds,mustard seeds and fennel seeds Saute for few seconds on medium flame 4.Add peanuts in the kadai and saute for 1 minute 5.Add 1 chopped onion and chopped potato Saute till they become soft on medium flame 6.Add chopped green chilies and curry leaves Saute for a minute 7.Add turmeric powder and stir it well 8.Add soaked poha,salt to taste and sugar in the kadai Mix it well gently 9.Sprinkle 1/2 lemon juice and chopped coriander leaves Mix it well 10.Cover with lid and cook it for a minute 11.Stir it gently and turn off flame 12.POHA is ready to serve 13.Serve Poha in a plate. Add KALA CHANA GRAVY in a plate Garnish with namkeen sev,chopped coriander leaves, finely chopped onion.
