Rain and landslides continue to wreak havoc in Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. So far 66 people have died due to heavy rains and landslides in both the states. Rescue operations by NDRF, SDRF, Army, local police and home guards are underway after the landslide in Summer Hill area on August 14 in Shimla. The Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rains in Himachal Pradesh in the next two days and Uttarakhand in the next four days.
